THE POLYTECHNIC, IBADAN STUDENT REPRESENTATIVE COUNCIL VISITS OYO STATE HOUSE OF ASSEMBLY SPEAKER


On 17th of march 2026 The Students’ Representative Council (SRC) recently engaged with the Speaker of the Oyo State House of Assembly in a strategic meeting aimed at strengthening student-government relations.

The discussion was based on the area of concern to the students, their involvement in the governance, and the possibility of collaborating on the programs that would be beneficial to the student body.

 The Speaker was delighted to welcome the delegation, and it discussed the issues of education, leadership, and student development. Future partnership plans such as student oriented programs and summits were also deliberated.

 This interaction is indicative of the involvement of the SRC representing students to its best, and making sure your voices are heard at the top.

The SRC remains committed to building strong institutional relationships that will foster growth, leadership, and opportunities for all students.
