Marseille, Juventus, Villarreal are said to be battling for the
signature of Nigeria international, Mikel Agu.
French Ligue 1 side Marseille appear to be stepping up their
interest for the player after they failed to land him in the summer.
Mikel, who is currently on loan to Sporting Braga from Porto
had been linked with a transfer to Marseille only for the deal to fail after he
rejected a loan move to France.
Marseille were not also prepared to meet the asking price for
the 25-year-old.
Marseille sent scouts to spy on Sporting Braga and Vitória Setúbal
players during Sunday’s Primeira Liga match at Estádio Municipal de Braga, according
to allnigeriasoccer.
Spanish La Liga side Villarreal as well as Italian champions
Juventus also had scouts present.
Mikel is currently valued at £1.80 million by transfer market.
The midfielder has spent time on loan at Club Brugge,Vitoria
Setubal, Bursaspor and returned for a second spell with Vitoria Setubal in August.
Modric to join Ronaldo at Juventus
Luka Modric will leave Real Madrid and join Juventus next year,
Don Balon reports.
Modric has been linked with a move to Inter Milan in recent months,
but it appears the Croatia midfielder might be heading to another Serie A side.
Juventus are interested in signing Modric, in a bid to fortify
the midfield and make a real challenge during Cristiano Ronaldo’s time with the
club.
Modric is also believed to have received offers from the Premier
League and MLS as well.
However,
Turin could be a tempting destination and he could also be joined by Zinedine Zidane
and Marcelo with the two also linked with the Italian champions.DROP YOUR COMMENT BELOW..........
