Kylian Mbappe could 'sign for Arsenal tomorrow'

Kylian Mbappe’s Arsenal transfer could happen sooner than expected with Arsene Wenger a huge driving force in the transfer, according to a close family member.

Mbappe is one of the most sought-after players this summer following an incredible breakthrough season at Monaco. The versatile attacker scored 26 goals in all competitions as his side won their first Ligue 1 title since 2000.

A close relative has been quoted in French media as saying that France’s latest star would love to work with the legendary Gunners boss and could move to the Emirates just for that opportunity alone.

But Mbappe could now end up at Arsenal despite also being chased by Manchester City and Paris Saint-Germain. According to a family member, even the lack of Champions League football wouldn’t be a problem – as long as Wenger is in charge.

Le Parisien via Le10Sport as published in SunSport quotes them as saying: "Wenger is one of the greats. If Kylian signs for Arsenal tomorrow, it will be for him.

"He knows how to shape the young and especially the former strikers of the French national team, Thierry Henry and Nicolas Anelka. [Lack of Champions League?] The Europa League is not an obstacle in itself."
